Purchased this item in Maine during the summer. There are 4 sensors on the fifth wheel. Setup was easy but took some time. Back in Florida, I looked at the monitor, which showed the pressure and temperature for each tire that was spinning. About 100 miles south of Bangor, a car stopped to let me know that I had a problem with one of my tires. I looked at the tire monitor, which still showed the pressure and temperature in all tires. Pulled to the curb and saw the wheel was missing from the rear axle. I looked at the monitor but it still showed the pressure and temperature in that tire. All the lugs on the wheel were cut off and the tire was missing. They called this company and were told that if the sensor is lost, the monitor will continue to give the last reading. Told customer service I would return the item once I got back to Florida. Two days later I had a puncture on another tire but I didn't notice any change in tire pressure or temperature. Now the returned item is minus two sensors. One lost with a hoop on I 95 and one lost with a breakout on I 84.
