I bought these compact over the door shoe storage boxes for my boys. Start at the top instead I opted for some strong adhesive hooks which worked great so I could set them as low as possible for my 4-7 year old boys to reach their shoes. I also rolled up the bottom part and pinned it. so we would all be shorter in design so I could hang them lower. Pros: - Since they came with 2 separate storage options, it was easy for me to tell whose shoes went in which department! - I can see that this is something that can last a long time because I will mainly be using it for shoes. I also think the quality of this canvas would be better than if it were a clear plastic shoe organizer because it can be thrown in the wash on the cool cycle and hang dry to keep it nice and clean. It is easily suitable for different types of shoes, high-top sneakers, sandals, water shoes! No cons - as cons I would point out that I was able to fix them with very simple modifications using safety pins and buying adhesive hooks. Keep them out of the closet but they get damaged easily, always get tangled and scattered all over their tiny closet. After much arguing, I thought this was the best possible solution.
