Review on JBL GO 2 Portable Waterproof Speaker in Champagne: Take Your Music Anywhere! by Deleted User ee15d30e

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I'm satisfied, it's a good purchase.

Maybe I was unlucky with the audio cable / connectors, but with one cable on the tracks with a clear difference in the sound picture through the channels, one channel is almost inaudible (it is especially noticeable on the Beatles tracks). Another tested cable did not transmit anything at all to the speaker. By Bluetooth has not yet checked such phonograms. A loud and melodious power-on signal and service messages like line in get out a little more (as if I myself don’t see that the cable is inserted) Addition after 8 months of operation: Operation at least 1-2 hours a day. Often longer. The battery didn't sit down. It was found that the sound from the laptop can be transmitted via USB. It was found out when the column worked through the AUX cable (the laptop does not connect to it via Bluetooth), battery. sat down and I connected AUX in parallel to his USB for recharging. It was also found that when connected with a cable (both AUX and USB), the volume on the speaker is not controlled by the buttons on the speaker

Pros
  • Size, sound, line-in, the ability to charge simultaneously with playback, the ability to turn off Bluetooth
Cons
  • Very tight buttons, stereo channels, if connected via the line input, are not mixed, one channel is played, there are few high frequencies, a short interval between the low battery message and shutdown, annoying blinking indicator when Bluetooth is turned off
