You can also use sandpaper on your surfaces

I got my new gas range cleaning and wiping around the Burner scratched like hell. The rough side is actually riddled with scratches, not without scratches. The sponge side doesn't soak up anything. It just wipes the liquid off, leaving horrible streaks on all surfaces. These are horrible sponges from all sides - I don't recommend it at all .Spend a little more on one of the brands.
