This little device is amazing. I've used four different RGBW controllers (MiLight, RGB Genie, LGIDTech) and they've all been a headache depending on applications written by non-English speaking companies. However, the RGBW2 is by far the best in its class and costs a third of the price. The entire setup, configuration, and firmware update took less than 15 minutes (compared to over an hour with previous controllers). In terms of functionality, it turns on and off, changes color and has different effects. It is easy to integrate with Alexa after installing the skill. But there is more. The device is unique in that it hosts its own HTML server where you can control your lights from a web browser, set timers and schedules, and even set a static IP address. / RF remote control option. You depend on the app, cloud, web console or Alexa (or Google Home) to control the LEDs. Still, I think there are many options. I will add comments to this review as things get worse over time, but at the time of writing this review I was very satisfied.
