Price $30! I have a 1960's MCM house and they would be a great addition to my themed decor. The part that connects the jar and the lid is made of plastic, slightly flexible. The bench itself is very well made. This is bright chrome with a hammered effect, the metal has gone through an industrial process that creates even, perfect dents so it doesn't have the unique look of hand forged metal but it still looks great. The lids are snug, not too tight, they are just right, if they were any looser that would be a problem. I bake a lot, so having the ingredients on hand saves a lot of time. A large jar is enough for four pounds of flour with little room to manoeuvre. The second largest glass is just enough for three pounds of sugar.
