I bought the copper plated set and this stainless steel set because I couldn't decide. I placed each under Royal Doulton Pacific Blue and was blown away by each look. There are a few hiccups in the "hunted" pattern, but when it's under the plate it's not a problem and is the reason for the 4 star rating. They really add a nice touch to a corporate table.

They are really strong and beautiful. I would give them 5 stars if they weren't so damn hard to open! I bought them to store coffee, creamer and Splenda (which I use daily). I suppose if you were buying this set to store the traditional flour, sugar etc they would be great because they seal so well. However, if you have arthritis or weak hands, you will never open them. I'm thinking of cutting off the plastic plug so I can use them more easily.

Well done, but the picture is a bit deceptive. In the picture they look almost white with scuffs/rust and are plain old stainless steel (I knew this before I bought it but I think some people might not be so aware). Everything is so cute and functional! Would have been 5 stars but some lids are a lot tighter than others, no big deal, still seal well, just annoying when I forget which one to pull to get out in the morning lol.

Live they are even more beautiful. My husband and I were looking for something to put on the dinner table to make a ring at dinner. This was a great purchase in my opinion. I will say that although they are carefully packaged, one of the six I bought had a dent (it's a metal charger). Luckily I don't think it's noticeable because it's clogged. Price $30! I have a 1960's MCM house and they would be a great addition to my themed decor. The part that connects the jar and the lid is made of plastic, slightly flexible. The bench itself is very well made. This is bright chrome with a hammered effect, the metal has gone through an industrial process that creates even, perfect dents so it doesn't have the unique look of hand forged metal but it still looks great. I'm glad I decided to look into the salt and pepper shakers. They were dirty inside. And the hole is so small that I had to use a small straw brush (pictured) to clean the inside. I also used a foam brush and both turned out dirty despite using soap and conditioner and didn't clean fully either. Rubber stoppers are very difficult to remove; One had what appeared to be tobacco flakes staining the plastic.
