I couldn't spend more than $70 so I knew I couldn't buy anything made of wood. Pressed wood will do, but I wasn't expecting plastic legs. I have to say they work. It's not very strong and I wouldn't exceed its weight limit of 10 pounds per shelf (15 pounds on top). I just had to move a few things off the table for it to do its job. What pissed me off is that the parts stickers they put on each part so you know how to put it together are so strong that when I pulled the "C" off one of the shelves it said that false wood demolition. Veneer. So there was immediate damage.
