I usually buy my flats from Walmart because of the fast shipping and how quickly I go through them. I took these slippers, checked them quickly and threw them in my bag. I haven't tried them on because I've bought enough pairs to know my size. Imagine my surprise when I went to put them on and one of the straps came undone immediately. These straps must be strong, meaning that when they arrived they were mostly hanging by a thread. Normally I would just put them back in my bag and return them, but I literally changed them when I needed them. So I had to stay with them for the night, which I thought was fine as I didn't have to try so hard. My feet felt uneven all evening and because I have narrow feet there was a gap between the bottom of my foot and the top of my toe. The reason for the 2 stars is definitely because it was mentioned above and also because they are ballet flats. It shouldn't be difficult to maintain quality control and ensure the straps are properly attached.
