This is a bad product and I cannot stress enough how strongly I advise you not to buy it. It's cheap to make, cheap to construct, and cheap to run. First, the build process isn't "simple" and I don't see how it can be described that way. You have to unscrew the case, pull out the motherboard, insert the SSD, and then insert a bolt one at a time, which then needs to be screwed onto the SSD. And these screws are SMALL. As in microscopically tiny. If you have thumbs, then good luck! Personally, I've lost the mounting screw TWICE and now it's missing entirely. I assume it's on the carpet somewhere, but I'm not kidding when I say it's the size of a 'nerd' candy, if you know the size. In any case, collecting depends on whether it works or not. If you are confused because it doesn't show up, you need to initialize the drive when using a new one. Conveniently, this fact is not in the instructions - no, it is somehow hidden in the product description. Once you've initialized the disk, well, good luck! I tried copying about 400GB of files and it was about halfway through, so far easy. disappears completely? The drive just disappeared. The computer does not recognize it. As for the computer, there is no drive! This of course resulted in me taking everything apart (tiny screws and all) and then losing the docking screw. So I don't know if it works even if I can assemble it. Some people here may have had better luck than me, but if you want my honest opinion, spend a few bucks more to get a better quality product. I wish I could.
