I'm used to really cheap brushes that aren't soft and don't turn out like crazy. I really needed a quality foundation brush that didn't cost me a fortune (yes, $21 for a Sigma Kabuki brush is a fortune for me). only in mid-March. And I'm sick of using sponges and that crappy flat "primer brush" you get in the kit. Remember I got the $10 "Eleven" set and their brushes are MISSING. In fact, yesterday I threw away the blush brush from this set because it shed so much there were no bristles left in the middle. You get what you pay for I guess. HOWEVER. I tried this angled kabuki brush right after opening it. AMAZING so far! It's so soft and gentle and I can tell it doesn't pick up the product once I'm done with it due to the synthetic bristles. It applies an even amount of product and hasn't lost it yet (hopefully never). Very satisfied!
