I need to talk about these shoes. My Story: I have Achilles tendinitis and a bone spur protruding from behind my heel. I rested, taped, tried stretching and finally decided to have painful surgery to fix the problem. After visiting another surgeon I was told to try physical therapy first and was also told that I didn't have to babysit but just kept walking and walking. I tried walking in several pairs of "good shoes" and by the time I got home I was already limping. Out of desperation I ordered these shoes and MIRACLE! I put them on, lace them up, and, miraculously, my left heel doesn't hurt. I don't know why, but it's not like that. I cut out notches on other shoes because it hurt a lot. I actually walked 10,000 steps the first day I put these shoes on. I will say my hips experienced bouts of discomfort, but that's to be expected when you realign. I do not care. If I can WALK and my feet don't hurt or scream in pain, I'm damn happy! I am so grateful to this shoe company for creating a shoe that has literally changed my life and allowed me to get out and play the sport I so desperately need. .As for the dimensions. I usually wear a size 11 and even with my arch brace, they don't pinch my toes or hurt my feet. So I would say they are true. If you suffer from foot pain I would highly recommend these shoes. You are worth every penny.
