This 16 ounce Heikio hammer seems great to me other than the fact that it is quite heavy - around 32, 5 ounces. If you're a wrestler, well, you might not care, it's a good workout if you're training for the decathlon. But the reason I bought this is because I wanted a light and efficient all-purpose hammer. It turns out to be significantly heavier than all my other hammers, about 5, even my 24 oz hammer I bought from Harbor Freight (which has a hardwood handle)! Well I have to say the pen is definitely the best. Nice and tight. All my other hammers have smooth handles and I'll fix that with a rubber coating. The head feels nice and is integrated into the steel handle so it looks like it's built to last. I hope your hand does too.
