Most wiper blades are expected to be replaced about every 6-12 months to achieve truly optimal performance. That said, some of my blades last for years, but that's mostly due to lack of use. It doesn't rain much where I live so it just has to withstand the sun and UV rays take a long time to really break down the rubber. If you are dealing with a lot of rain or snow I would replace the blades about once a year for safety or invest in heavier blades. These blades work well and I can't imagine spending a lot of money on supposedly higher quality versions/brands when you'll be replacing them from time to time anyway, barring some extreme weather exceptions. I replaced a 2004 Tacoma with these and they were easy to put on. When it comes to compatibility, don't just rely on the Revain Fit Calculator. Get out there and measure your blades and look at the locking mechanism to see if they're compatible. It takes 2 minutes and saves you potential income. The product images on this site are awful, so if you want to see more detailed images just google it.
