Review on 50ft Long Omnihil 2.1mm (ID) x 5.5mm (OD) DC Plug Extension Cable - Compatible with Various Security Camera Systems by Dan Dickey

I ordered a cable based on the description and picture (thicker cable jacket) as the cable can withstand extreme heat going through my roof. What I have is definitely not the same. Another customer posted a photo of the cable they received and it matched the cable in the description. The Omnihil style number listed on the cable was 2464. The style number on the cable I received is 2468. The female end of this cable is barely recessed unlike the cable in the description which means it will soak up water more easily can one. . in description. It also consists of a visible positive and negative wire sewn together, resembling speaker wire. The cable I ordered had a single outer jacket. This might seem like a small thing to some, but I believe that the cable will be more durable in extreme temperatures because it has an outer jacket. Where I live it can get up to 116 degrees on the ground so it should be around 140 degrees on my roof. I'll give it a try but will definitely see if the 5 year warranty is worth the money.
