Review on ๐Ÿงฆ Truform Sheer Compression Stockings: Women's Thigh High, 15-20 mmHg, 20 Denier, Nude, Large - Enhance Leg Health and Style by Hassan Tomlinson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Jobst, Sheer Ease and VIM & VIGR were compared with Truform. Truform wins.

I love these compression hoses. I first bought a pair of Jobst brand compression hoses ($90) at a local drug store. They fit correctly, but for a person walking in the middle of the day, the hose starts to sag and roll. The hosiery will eventually stop at my knee and cut off blood flow, making the compression stockings completely meaningless. I ended up buying a garter but found that the garter is useless if there is silicone on the edge of the hosiery. I started looking for non-silicone hosiery. Having never used a garter before, I wanted to make sure I was using it properly. I quickly realized that the garter wasn't for me. I was very disappointed with the dressing. I bought a pair of Sheer Ease and this pair of Truform for under $25. Jobst's compression was 20-30. Sheer Ease and Truform are both 15-20. Sheer Ease also rolled down. When I first tried Truform I was sure I couldn't use them. Truform is not like Jobst or Sheer Ease. The material is a bit like polyester. At first I thought they were cheap. I was wrong. After washing them once, I felt a change in the texture of the material with my hands. Now I only wear Truform. I have large calves and legs and these Truform compression stockings do not roll. They can sag a little at the ankle but stay on the hip. I walk a mile on lunch break and they stay where they are. Other products are not required. Truform has two silicone straps that appear to work. Jobst has silicone beads that aren't very effective. I have several pairs of compression socks from VIM & VIGR ($32). I have to buy a big one. Unfortunately, because they are long, I had to constantly adjust them. They cut off blood flow at ankle level. I plan to buy more.
