These hoses look very natural.

Used these hoses for church on Sundays. They offer the support my doctor recommended and they looked and felt good. My legs didn't feel tired after church, dinner, and errands. I recommend these hold ups to anyone who wants to look good and still have good leg support. I was advised to wear them as my varicose veins have changed.

Comfortable but one of mine broke

I ordered these because I have varicose veins and needed another pair. The first time I put them on, I put the first one on just above the knee and suddenly there was a huge hole in them. (Yes, I bought the right size and was careful.) So I tried a different one and everything worked great. At the moment I can say that it is comfortable and holds up well even when I sleep in it and walk a lot. I couldn't find a way to contact the seller about the torn stockings.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

One fits great and the other slips off (any leg.

They really help my varicose veins. I read some reviews about the band slipping and some said it was never a problem. Well, ie have one of each! one fits great and the other slips off (no matter what foot i wear it on) don't know why they are different as they are both the same size and it's not a problem with wrong size (ie as one holds up great) The compression aspect is great though! It's nice not having to lug around a full inner tube.

Performs well on stockings

I had my measurements taken at the local store so I knew exactly what size to order. And I bought my first pair locally so I knew what color I wanted and how the stockings would work. I was happy with this brand and continue to be happy. They work very well for me. The only complaint I have is the stitching in the top strip. The elastic fibers are beginning to loosen, but that probably happens with all stockings of this type. I would recommend these tubes, but I think it would be a good idea to

Great compression Thigh His

I wear them because I have problems with swelling in my feet and lower legs (fluid retention). Over the past two years I have tried several brands designed for this purpose. I like the Ames walkers best for a couple of reasons: they don't go to bed, and I had a sock that didn't go to bed for some reason, just one of many. The reason you have trouble sleeping through is the wrong size. They last a long time. I wear about 45 days per pair, I hand wash them every day and change two pairs, so two…

Insecure, burned my skin.

The material in the band that supports it is not listed, I had an allergic reaction to it like many other reviewers, thought it was just me but it seems like other women felt the same way. At first I thought it was great, and then it burned my skin. Maybe chemistry, not an allergic reaction? It was BURN. Not only did it leave red marks, it was like a hot poker on my skin. Doesn't rub or itch. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT. The price is too good to be true, be careful. I won't put them back on to…

Super for tired legs

These stockings fit me perfectly. I suffer from varicose veins and after a long 12 hour shift I have severe pain and fatigue in both legs. I ordered these after my discomfort started affecting my weekends. I bought 2 medium sizes in white. They are very transparent, I was almost surprised as the previous sets I bought from another brand were very thick and opaque. They go up to my mid thigh, I'm even 5ft. Despite the appearance, they are very durable. It takes some strength to put the sock on…

Jobst, Sheer Ease and VIM & VIGR were compared with Truform. Truform wins.

I love these compression hoses. I first bought a pair of Jobst brand compression hoses ($90) at a local drug store. They fit correctly, but for a person walking in the middle of the day, the hose starts to sag and roll. The hosiery will eventually stop at my knee and cut off blood flow, making the compression stockings completely meaningless. I ended up buying a garter but found that the garter is useless if there is silicone on the edge of the hosiery. I started looking for non-silicone…
