I was mostly concerned with rolls and rolls of paper towels because my household rags left lint, hair, etc. behind. I bought them because of the quantity and price, and let me just say I was delighted when I started cleaning up with them. I've found that I can clean refrigerators and toilets without quadruple checking and double cleaning for lint. They start to leave a bit of lint when soaked, but I've never come across a microfiber towel that doesn't leave a residue when wet.
