I'm a shoe snob, which means I've worn many brands and am very critical of this type of shoe. I've been wearing the same Sanux for almost 3 years, this one here. I have flat feet and shoes always cause pain. I have worn many of these shoes in a year. Not this one. I wear them all day every day. They still haven't made a single hole. No one. The outsole is still good. The rubber inside is shaped like my feet and toes. It fits perfectly and is very comfortable. I have a friend who wears a different type of thin-soled sanuk and they are killed. holes and collapse. They have a thick sole and a thick canvas. So far, after wearing these types of shoes for years, they have become my favorite pair and I am an expert on them. Normally I would have glued the tarpaulin long ago, or glued the tarpaulin to the rubber, but not in this one. My boyfriend switches to them to be like me.
