Review on 💻 Aerocool SL5200 FrostPC White Side Window by Mateusz Grzesiak  (M ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice price, good quality.

The case is budget, this must be borne in mind. But for a budget building, it's not bad at all. Excellent glass with a metal frame is attached like a regular cover with screws on the back. Removable HDD cage. Some reviews say you have to remove the front leg to unscrew it. But in fact, you can (and should) do it differently. The basket is attached to the body on four "rubber" screws-legs. In principle, if the PC stands still, then these four legs are already enough. In addition to them, there are two more screws that firmly fix the basket, one of these screws (they are screwed in from below) is closed by the front leg. It's trite, but just don't use that screw. And without it, everything will be securely fixed. Laying all the wires neatly is quite difficult, because. places for this back to back (you can, of course, throw everything in a heap on the HDD basket). Partially this task is facilitated by the closed casing of the power supply, under it you can hide part of the wiring. Also, cable laying is complicated by the fact that the "ears" for the clamps on the back wall are thin. And they just bend if you try to forcefully pull some kind of hard cable (for example, a USB 3.0 case cable). But in general, I liked the case.

Pros
  • Beautiful. Normal glass fastening - screws at the back (and not on the side through the glass). magnetic filters. Two places for mounting water cooling.
Cons
  • Thin metal. Too high for mATX body. "Microsity" is almost not felt. Not enough space for cables.

It is better to put M.2 disks, and with 2.5 'or 3.5' there will be a hemorrhoid.
