First I bought these gloves. I didn't get them for free. I initially gave them 3 stars for the fit but after great customer service I changed it to 5 out of 5. The palm of these gloves is great and the padding is amazing. At the moment they make a well-made impression, are very comfortable to wear and the material on the thumb is soft and comfortable. Velcro seems to work well. I've only used them 3 times so I can't confirm how long they last or how durable they are but so far these are my favorite pair I've owned in a long time. I like wearing gloves with long fingers and can never find a good pair with adequate padding. This is compliant. The touchscreen finger works well with my phone and I don't have to take my glove off to use it.*** Tip**** Be sure to measure your arm length and finger length. If you are at the top take a size 9/14/15, I used the larger ones I bought (large) and they fit MUCH better. They are solid, not solid. I think I might even go for XL but I'll see how long they last and if they stretch. I like how they sit. I find them better than the overpriced gloves from Specialized, Fox or Giro. 9/2/16 I've had them for a year now and they are STRONG. I've had several accidents and these gloves are still in good condition. The pads are still good, they aren't heavily compressed or misaligned. The fabric doesn't stretch very much either. I'll probably go for XL next time. They are a little tight on the thumb and middle finger. It annoys me a bit as I notice it every time I drive. I could buy a new pair but the ones I have still work after a good year of mountain biking. I have the same pair for a road bike. My suggestion would be to go one size up. If you're in the mid to high range of Med or Lg, your fingertips will thank you. The touch part still works. I threw them in the wash, do not tumble dry because they are tight. I'm afraid they'll sit down and get really annoying. not stretched, so if you are about to gain size. I'm a large size and I think XL would fit better for the length. It's very annoying how tight they sit on your fingertips. Otherwise I was very happy with them, I have two pairs and take two more for a better fit.
