I've never liked the white rods in my ears that look like the popular "airy" ear pads. They're much more understated and don't create the snobbish, haughty vibe that the "other" style portrays. They fit snugly in my ears and do NOT come off when I shake my head or move. Also, at this price if I drop them I won't be devastated by losing a lot of money to myself. I paid around $50 for them at the time of review and if I lose or drop them it doesn't hurt me as they are 5 times more expensive. They connect to my devices with no problems. They paired easily with my Android phone and my Windows 10 PC (not at the same time). They turn off when I put them back in their case and turn on again when I take them out myself. Very cool touch control with backlight and digital display of the power level in the housing. The sliding mechanism of the METAL storage drawer is also of the highest quality and emits a very solid pleasant "whistle" when opened. The metal box was a surprise as I was expecting a plastic box at this price point. There's also an internal 3000mAh battery in the box, which not only charges your headphones but also the included micro-USB to USB-A adapter, so you can use it as a power bank to charge your phone or other devices can.
