Review on Black Tayama ELE-01 Sous Vide Immersion Circulator, 15X4X9 Inches by Kristi Marshall

I bought this unit as a backup/supplimental unit so that I could cook 2 things at the same time in separate cooking vessels. The amount the clip will open is very limited. I could not clip this onto my little cooler, which is what I like to use. I would clip onto the liner from my instant pot. However, I had to fill the water to almost above the max fill level to keep the noise down. It is very loud when the water is circulating. The cord is very short. The unit is a bit fuddy-duddy looking. Not really sure why it was designed to look like that as it does not make it more, but less functional and awkwardly heavy to one side. The display controls were easy to use.It also did not hold the temperature and was about 3 degrees high.If you are looking to get into sous vide cooking, don't buy this one. You will be disappointed. Sous vide cooking is great when the unit works well.
