Review on Air washer Winia AWX-70, white/turquoise by Dorota Rutkowska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing for the money, Im glad I chose this option.

Just unpacked and turned on so this is not a full review but only "first impressions". Its pros: Already when unpacking the device, it became clear that the device is "for all the money" - the quality of plastic and molding is at the highest level. All parts are protected by film, cardboard pads and laced with adhesive tape. Even during assembly, I tried to turn the drum with my hands and made sure that it slides in the seats with some noise, I thought it would sound at speed, but it turned out that the drum rotates slowly, so noise from this side, if any, is masked by the rustle of the outgoing air on almost all speeds, except for quiet and night modes. How much it interferes with sleep I will check at night. By the way, the wide shaft of the drum is lubricated, so be careful when assembling! The narrow end is not lubricated in any way. After assembling and turning on the device in automatic mode, it blew and rustled with air like a good air conditioner. At the same time, an indication of humidity was displayed on the display - approximately 25%. A separate hygrometer, standing about three meters from the apparatus, showed 10% humidity in the room. After about 40 minutes of operation at maximum speed, the readings became 35% on the machine and 25% on a separate hygrometer. Until I figured out which one is more accurate. Cons below: At first glance, there are three shortcomings - and the first two are probably inherent in all similar devices - when it works at full power, it makes a lot of noise (and blows up) a lot, approximately like the indoor unit of an air conditioner at the same fan speed. The third drawback or rather a defect of Korean engineers is that the power cord does not fully enter the socket on the case (see photo), although it holds up well.
