After using only fabric bath towels to dry my hair, they changed me in a whole world. My hair was dry, frizzy and tangled so I switched to these. All my frizzy problems are gone! My hair lies flat and feels much softer. My hair is thick and reaches the middle of my back. Their length isn't long enough to cover the ends, but that's okay. Black is a great color because I have red hair that usually dyes towels every other color but not this one. The towels are very soft, absorbent and absorb excess water perfectly. They smell something right out of the box and need to be washed a couple of times to get rid of that smell. They are also very fluffy before the first few washes. So if you don't want black fluff to fall on you, I recommend washing it. They're also a bit thinner, thinner than a standard bath towel, but that's better because it holds up better on my head without the extra weight. I love her!
