Waterproof up to the knee!

These SuMade Unisex Knee High Hiking Climbing Cycling Socks really are waterproof but they are hard to get off.I didn't really know what to expect but these socks just feel like thick, soft, socks. They seem to have a lining of some sort - maybe neoprene? The stuff wetsuits are made of? They fit snugly everywhere except the toe. I love that the toe area is very roomy. Even though I have narrow feet, I dislike my toes being squished together. These socks are superbly comfortable in that area. They come up to the knee and they are bright and colorful - black, blue, grey and yellow. To test them, I put them on with some looser tennis shoes (as these socks are pretty thick) and when outside and soaked my feet with the water hose. My shoes were sopping wet but amazingly, my feet were dry. I have another pair of SuMade ankle socks and these are just as waterproof.SuMade says that these socks breathe, too, so they won't make your feet sweaty but the long ones do get hot inside in the 90+ degree temps here in Texas. I can see that these will be great for fall and winter when walking on the beach or hiking or any sort of outdoor activity where your feet might get wet (and cold.)The only thing you should be aware of is that they are kind of hard to take off so someone with mobility issues may have a a bit of a struggle getting them on and off.
