Review on California Baby Calendula Moisturizing Cream by Kristy Esposo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Healed baby acne/lullaby caps on baby's face.

When my baby was only a few weeks old, she started what is known as baby acne. But it kept getting worse so we took her to the pediatrician who said it could be a cradle shape on her face. She prescribed me an antifungal cream and told me to keep it on 24/7. We started it and after a few days everything cleared up. But then he kept trying to come back and the antifungal cream didn't help. So I put ointment on it and it helped. We took her back to the pediatrician and she said it was probably just sensitive skin and needed moisturizing with a good moisturizer. Well, I'm so tired of using ointments. It's sticky and seeps everywhere, kid used it on hands and eyes, it never got absorbed, and baby lotion didn't help so I looked for a good non toxic gentle cream that really moisturizes. I found this and read reviews from other moms who said it helped their kids with the same problem. It also got a 3 on the Think Dirty app (EWG scale), no the ingredients were very clean so I thought I'd give it a try. That's great. It is very light but very moisturizing. He's not fat at all. A small amount is enough and the skin stays soft and moisturized for 24 hours. Since using it (for several months) we have had NO BREAKTHROUGH! That says a lot because she got them every few weeks! I apply it every morning or every other morning because sometimes her face still feels soft and hydrated after applying it the day before. I highly recommend it! That lasts me a long time too. I love this product.
