First of all, I have a lot of respect for British brush makers like Kent and Denman. The quality of their brushes is practically superior to anything else on the market. I was recently looking for a blow dryer air vent brush to replace the Cricket Fastflo. The FastFlo is arguably the best bleed brush in my opinion, but with one fatal flaw: the ball ends aren't connected to the handle like some others, including the Denman. In just 1 year of daily use, the pens have worn out, fallen out and exposed sharp points. I reviewed this brush and gave it a bad rating. The Denman Tunnel Vent Brush now has a molded ball tip and another unique feature. The base of the shaft is designed so that its cones blend seamlessly with the brush. The taper makes the brush feel stiffer and is great for thick hair. As I also use this brush for my little daughters, they have complained that it is too hard. Another great thing about this seamless design is that the base doesn't get caught on the hair. What I don't like about this brush is the handle. What were they thinking? The handles of their classic brushes are comfortable to hold. The handle on the aeration brush has sharp lines that chafe against your palm during use, and the tapered design makes it feel like it will slip off your hand unless you grip the indentations. If you want a Denman air brush, I highly recommend you go for the D200. Or wait for Cricket to start shaping the ends of their balls and get an awesome FastFlo at half price.
