I was surprised at how poorly made these rings are given the amount of good reviews. I guess they changed something in the production over the course of the production and the reviews haven't caught up yet. Of the eight tires I bought, two won't open at all, two won't close at all. They are very difficult to snap into, especially after skipping them. Also, they are thicker than other hoops of the same style and stretch some of my piercings (all decades old). They are non-refundable after you have tried (and failed in my case) to wear them. I wish I had saved my money because despite the reviews they are very poor quality.
