I highly recommend this fitting! I used them on both sides of my entire house filter because I needed a 1" to 3/4" faucet to connect to my Pex line. It fitted perfectly into my filter inlet and outlet with 1" female pipe threads. I then just put my Pex in the end of the fitting and turned on the water. Try it first and no leaks in the Pex connection or pipe threads. You can see the fitting on the left side of my filter assembly. Such a neat and professional looking setup. Most heavy duty whole house filters use a 1" pipe thread connection so this fitting is perfect and fits the PEX, copper etc on the shark bite end. The Shark Bite connection does not leak on all fittings I have used Just a great product and worth the money especially when connecting to copper pipe There is no soldering and the connection is instantaneous no need to try and solder leaky connections on wet Repairing pipes, which is almost impossible!
