I received a 13" Macbook Pro 2020 with M1 chip a few months ago. I really liked my computer but wanted to connect it to a second monitor that I used with my Imac. I needed an adapter and it's perfect! got it today and hooked up the displayport that used to connect directly to my iMac from my HP monitor to the adapter and plugged it into my laptop.immediate success.now I have two screens that I'm working on I can work on my design It's fantastic and just what I need Super impressed with the quality for the price Good ends for connecting to laptop and displayport - very tight connection that feels safe and secure The cable between the Ends are wrapped with thick and sturdy nylon threads so I don't think it will break easily so it should last a long time My plan is to only use it at home den when I need a monitor. it means that you connect the monitor and then plug or unplug the laptop. I am thrilled and recommend!
