I bought this product for my father who is currently undergoing chemotherapy. He developed mucositis. His tongue hurt so much that he didn't want to eat. After using this product before every meal and then morning/evening (after a few days with this frequency), he said his mouth no longer hurts and he can eat with no problems! He says it burns, especially at first when the sores were very bad, but the discomfort subsides as the mucositis gets better. We will definitely be buying more when it runs out and he will be recommending it to anyone going through this as well!
