When installing this tripod on a Sony a6000, I noticed that it is not very level. I took it apart and found that 2 legs had too much spray at the very end of the "hinge" which is why the legs don't fully open. A small file to remove the paint solved this problem. A 1/4" screw can be removed with a 4mm hex, but the screw looks too big. The hex wrench they sent should not be used to remove the clasp as it will most likely break. I got lucky and my 4mm hex keys were slightly larger than the ones they sent and fitted the screw better. There's a very slight shift when the legs are closed, but nothing noticeable when you hold it. That being said, the rest of the build feels pretty solid, especially for the price ($8.49). I don't see any plastic, it's all metal except for the legs, which feel like soft rubber.
