Review on πŸ”§ 10.4 Inches Swing-A-Way Easy Crank Can Opener - Black, Efficient & User-Friendly by Jeff Bundrick

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great can opener fits can opener

There are some strong, old-school cans in the world made from the tough American steel of vintage Cadillacs and Fords that other inferior can openers dread. The Mighty Swing Away 6080 Easy Crank unerringly takes down any of these opponents, from a miniature tuna can (because of the long handle, you'll have to move it closer to the edge of the rack!) to the mighty and formidable number 10. Its smooth, long handles ensure excellent leverage. , and the long crank turns that once tedious work into an enjoyable experience that you can only appreciate. As mentioned above, the length of the handle means short cans need to be stored near the counter edge, but isn't that a small price to pay for easy and efficient opening? I think so. The sturdy Swing Away 6080 (a great choice) also features a foldable handle that takes up less space in your kitchen tool box. If you don't need that extra moving part, you can't go wrong with the equally great Swing Away 6090, which is essentially the same without the folding handle. Thanks to Swing Away, I look forward to opening many more commercial canned goods with ease. I've found that some reviews say it only lasts a few months. If so, I'll update this review as I've only had about a month of flawless work. Like some others, I too would prefer a product from the USA and pay more for it.

Pros
  • SMOOTH AND EASY TO USE: The cutting disc is made of carbon steel and slides easily over can lids. The cut is smooth and anti-crack, making it easy to use. There is a built in bottle opener.
