This product is designed for convenient use of a marker and flashlight. The concept is amazing. However, the 4 pack I received only really worked for 2 parking lights. I'm pretty sure it's a battery issue and I'll try to replace them, possibly depending on the cost of the batteries due to the price of the markers. That's why I only gave them 3 stars. Also, they write well and the light at the two workstations does the job.

That's it. They say pins, but they're actually markers. My kid thinks he can write on his hand and everything else because it's not visible. So if it was listed as a marker I would look to others for real pens. The markers dry faster, which is my only issue, meaning they can be used in less time. Idk is ok. She likes them, and the price for four was cheaper than the book fair paying that price for one.

We made a quest for children in which they had to solve puzzles and find clues. Invisible ink sticks were such a hit. The only thing I didn't like was the cap that glows, doesn't end up fitting when you take it off to write. To make it easier for children to lose them. Which would render the pen unusable. I bought 3 sets for my grandson's birthday quest who had 12 children and then ordered another set before the party. Turns out my 3 adult kids thought they were so cool they wanted 1 pen too…

So it's fun. The lights are bright when it works, and they're immediately insanely fun for kids. The fact is that if you run out of ink, they are useless. They don't look like they have a lot of ink in them as the kids ran out after a few drawings. I don't know if I had a bad batch or what but the box was in good condition and didn't look old or anything. Had they lasted a little longer I would highly recommend them but for the money they may not be as good as I expected.

I ended up sending these invisible ink pens back because two of the four built in UV lamps didn't work. Sometimes they barely lit or flickered, but never fully turned on and didn't burn. Shame as the ink pen part worked perfectly and if it weren't for the faulty lightbulbs they would have been fine.
