I usually wear the XL Relaxed Fit shirt. I'm a little taller in the middle than I should be, but this size usually fits me. I once accidentally ordered this shirt in 3XL when I saw that I was expecting it to fit me like a tent, but it actually fits me except the sleeves are a bit longer and end at the fingertips. The really weird thing is that even though it's 3XL, the neckline is pretty tight while my other XL shirts fit just fine. So the size is a bit strange, normally even a 2xl shirt would be too big for me. So, like most reviewers, I think you should probably order a size up, maybe two if you're a bit medium weight or like a relaxed fit. I'm pretty sure if I had ordered my normal size XL it would have been too tight. You can return/exchange the shirt if it is too big or too small. I would say the sizing of this shirt is definitely smaller than other shirts I've ordered in this style. If this shirt shrinks a bit in the wash, most will fit me, but the neck will probably be too tight to button. This isn't a problem for me as I don't usually close all the buttons. The shirt looks good and is comfortable to wear. Don't expect a light linen shirt to keep you warm in the winter, NO linen shirt I've had will do this. Linen shirts are usually made for normal to hot weather, they breathe well and although it's a long sleeve shirt it should be nice and cool in hot weather. I deducted 1 star for the odd size, if you are patient enough to return it once or twice until you find the right size you should love this shirt.
