ATTENTION, inserting the ignition key blocks the chip reader! My daughter bought it and we spent a week trying to figure out why her car wouldn't start! Spent $500 replacing sensors for no reason! The metal blocks the chip reader and the car won't start! That was on a 2008 CRV.
