Great brush for $ and for cutting large areas

As a longtime painter, I like to try new applicators to see if they can increase my profit margin by reducing the time it takes I spend drawing. This brush had good reviews so I decided to give it a try. Overall, this is a great brush for many painting purposes. The filaments hold color with very little dripping or spattering. The hard core allows me to dampen the brush before painting or clean between colors and use the same brush without getting wet drips on the handle. The brush also cleans up quickly because the paint doesn't get into the furule. The 2.5 inch model's bristles are long and very flexible, but work well with regular flat wall paint over flat wall paint. The bristles cut the edges well and you can cover a large area before dipping it back into the jar. The strokes and bristles fan out evenly and dispense color smoothly. These qualities make it a better brush than most Purdy or even Wooster brushes in my opinion. Feet with this brush made the job easy and quick. My only complaint would be that the shape of the handle isn't quite right for a comfortable grip. The handle's shoulders have an edge that digs into your hand depending on how you hold it, and the narrow handle might be more useful if it's a beaver tail. I will update in the future as I see how it holds up in daily use and multiple product lines and conditions. This isn't your fine-tipped brush for imposing or detailed work, get 2" All American for that.
