Save money! Background: I have a 2013 MacBook and rarely, if ever, boot it up in favor of my MacBook Pro. A few weeks ago, my dog chewed the professional's power cord and made it useless. sigh. I researched alternatives and was calculated how much a full charging cable would cost, so I chose this product as an alternative and after a few months I'm still happy! This product magnetically snaps right over the old connector and then plugs into your Mac. I didn't experience any slowdown in loading or connection issues. I would have done this many years ago to turn my old cable into a paid option if I had known this product existed. Five stars
