I got this after the pH test strips I ordered didn't work. I use it for my aquarium and it seems accurate enough for that. I don't think it's waterproof, maybe that's why others break theirs. It also measures TDM but I didn't use it for that, only for pH. I remember paying a lot more for one about 10 years ago that only measured pH and which seemed to last longer but was expensive - so this one is actually pretty good for the price if you get it will not use often. The pH is definitely accurate within 0.1-0.2 which is all I need.
