I've only worn this coat twice so can't confirm how long it will last but it seems quite well made. The cuffs and hood have elastic bands to keep you warm. The outer pockets are large and have zips, and there are also two large inner pockets. I love the color light blue. I'd say if you're wearing it in temperatures below 45 or so you should leave enough room to wear a warm sweater underneath, but over 45 you'll be fine with a light long sleeve underneath. It's very light and not too bulky. I'm 5ft 9in/180 and have broad shoulders and chest for a woman. The large one is perfect for me because I wanted it to be a little tight. I think it fits the size.
