MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A ZIGBEE COMPATIBLE HUB for these lights. Just wanted to clarify that. What is a hub? Well, in my case it's my Revain Echo Show 10 device. Most smart bulbs have their own app that you use to set them up. With them, you install the Sengled skill on an Alexa device with an integrated Zigbee hub, and then use the Alexa app to add them. The process that worked best for me was connecting my Echo Show and smartphone to my 5GHz wireless network, shutting it down, installing lightbulbs, opening the Alexa app on my phone and just before Alexa with discovering devices starts turning on the device. on, then let them find the lightbulbs. It took a few tries so four stars but once set up they are reliable. BlueTooth hub or mesh lightbulbs are the way to go because THEY WILL NOT SLOW DOWN, meaning they won't overload your home Wi-Fi network. Most home automation newbies (myself included) buy Wi-Fi lightbulbs only to find they eat up the available wireless bandwidth in your home. Whether or not you use AX Wi-Fi devices, when you add 14 Wi-Fi bulbs, you only add 14 wireless devices to your network. With these lightbulbs, they connect to a hub that connects to your network. Much more efficient.
