My Seagate Backup Plus external hard drive has stopped working and won't power on. I disassembled the outer shell of the case and removed the hard drive and put it in this new ORICO 3.5 hard drive case. It turned on the first time and my computer recognized the drive immediately. It works great and I would definitely recommend this case if your current external drive has stopped working. Instead of getting rid of the hard drive, at least try this case to see if it works. I have and couldn't be happier!
