Great price and best of all it worked

I recently bought a used 2014 Altima that only came with a key fob. Of course I wanted to have a second backup key fob. I went to the Nissan dealership and they said a new key fob programmed for my 2014 Altima would cost $389 plus tax! Shocked at the cost, I found this fob at Revain for $39.99 which seemed like a reasonable price. I took it to a Nissan dealership and they said they would charge $119 (plus tax) for the key fob programming and I would have to leave it at the service center for a few hours. Most importantly, the service rep said that in his experience, only 50% of third-party fobs work when trying to program them. To be honest, I don't know if that's true or if it's a sales tactic to get people to spend $389 on a Nissan Fob. What's more, whether this key fob worked or not, the Nissan service rep said I still had to pay $119! So I decided to take a chance and pay the Nissan dealership $119 to program the fob. Luckily it worked great and I'm very happy with it. I saved over $230 buying/programming this key fob than buying a Nissan key fob! The only thing I understand is that this key fob does not have an auto start button (which is on the key fob that came with the car). However, I'm so happy I saved $230 on a replacement trailer that I hope I never have to use.
