Was looking for a radio for the kitchen, bedroom or outdoor patio for news and music and wanted something new that looked old. Originally from Indiana, the Studebaker name caught my attention. The ability to switch from AC to battery power during power outages or in remote locations is a plus. The tuner finds stations that my other stereo system can't find. This little radio can work well in any situation and space and looks great. I also wanted to know that it was designed by a private American company based near Chicago. If you want a good nostalgic radio that will work anywhere, you can't go wrong for the money.
