Media failed to load. These little spring clips are very strong and it takes almost two hands to fully open a 3/4 inch thick piece of wood. The clamping surface actually slides left and right to accommodate the different thicknesses of the two pieces of wood. In the attached video I placed the clamp alone on a 1x2 piece of wood and you can see the clamp face slide as it clamps. While it takes almost two hands to fully open the clamp, it requires much less effort. then opening it wide enough to adjust the clamped wood for final positioning.They are perfect for situations where a band clamp will not fit and are a welcome addition to my clamp collection.
