Why so thin? Exchange every 5 years.
The fragility of this part adds to the lifetime value of this food processor. My mother-in-law's (much older) food processor never had to be replaced every five years. Why is it so cheaply made? I figured it must be a quality brand - it's definitely worth it - and it's annoying that the same part breaks so often. I know it's been 5 years because Revain reminded me I bought the same part in 2015. And here I am again in 2020. Also, no middle pusher is included, so stick with that.
