This power strip with USB input replaced a 17 year old unit that had 3 separate phone jacks so you could use your phone, fax and computer. , all at the same time! I was very happy with the size of the device, number of ports and USB ports, which is more than I ever expected. But it fits where the old block has spent the last 17 years so I'm very happy. I also like the long cable. I don't know if it will stop surges, but I hope so. These descriptions of Jules mean nothing to me. So, as always, I buy in hopes of a happy ending.
