Review on TORCHSTAR E-Star Series: 3 Inch Gimbal LED 💡 Recessed Lights with Junction Box - Industrial Electrical Innovation by Daniel Warren

I bought these lights to use for hanging pictures on the wall. They boost colors but are very bright. I had to install them with a Lutron Diva dimmer. Works perfectly! I found installing these lamps very easy. I installed all six and ordered six more. Overall they appear to be well made, but I was a bit disappointed with the way the light rotates and moves up and down. There is no real mechanism by which the light is regulated. The light just sits in place and you just move it around and tape it in place until it stays where you want it. I've used other gimbals with very heavy rotation to keep the adjustment right where you want it. After adjusting these headlights I was happy but I suspect they will need readjusting over time. We'll see, but that's why I didn't give this product five stars. The cable connectors are really good and make wiring very easy. Remember that once you plug the cord into the connector, if you make a mistake, it will be very difficult to pull it out. I wish the manufacturer used lever type connectors which make it much easier to insert and remove wires when needed. However, a very pleasant light. Highly recommended!
