I bought this for the winter months because I was looking for a way of having "shoes” with a hard (semi hard) bottom and the softness of socks. With the pandemic and working from home I made my work station very comfy. I bought a memory foam foot rest that is amazing, and because it is memory foam, I didn’t want to ruin it with shoes, I also found that taking your slippers/sandals on and off before putting your feet on them was a hassle. Enter these slipper socks. They work great for what I wanted them. The feel of having shoes while walking on hard floor but also just having socks when entering the carpet area or using my foot rest. They really serve the purpose I bought them for. Only thing I would suggest is to have a top seam where you insert your foot. After 5 months of daily use, I’m beginning to see long strings come off the top. I don’t know if this is the beginning of the end but I was able to cut one off without seeing much damage. To be fair is not all the socks but will keep an eye on durability. For my purpose, they work.
